SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER

1. Assist with evaluation process of tender proposals form Clients, Subcontractors and vendors.
2. Develop work, project specific procedures.
3. Review technical documentation.
4. Control/coordinate procurement, fabrication and installation activities.
5. Prepare, manage and control offshore work schedules.
6. Compile fabrication and installation as-built packages
7. Be involved in Hazard Identification Studies & Risk Assessment of Tasks detailed in the procedures.
8. Design, check and/or supervise the design of installation aids and other equipment required for use offshore. Carry out the supervision of this through to fabrication and delivery, ensuring compliance to the overall project Quality Plan and Company processes.
9. Witness activities such as load tests, trial fits, Factory Acceptance Tests, Site Integration Tests.
10. Select suitable equipment to perform operational tasks offshore and liaise marine departments and third-party contractors to ensure the equipment is fit for purpose and fully compatible to the offshore worksite.
11. Assist with development of deck layouts
12. Be involved with sea fastening and rigging design.
13. Get involved with lift planning.
14. Assist with mobilization of vessels, safety and technical aspect.
15. Prepare and deliver project briefings/ toolbox talks to offshore teams,
16. Act as focal point for resolution of technical issues raised during offshore construction and inspection activities.
17. Review daily progress reports for technical accuracy and completeness
18. Identify any deviations and from procedures and manage the change through Change Control process.
19. Other duties that might be assigned.
20. Adhere to Company and Client QHSE & general rules and regulations.
21. Participate in Company and Client QHSE program(s).

Qualifications / Certifications:

• Possess a Degree (Minimum) in Mechanical, Civil, Petroleum or equivalent engineering field.
