JOB PURPOSE 

Drive end-to-end delivery of business process improvement initiatives across the Group, from discovery through to implementation and adoption, ensuring measurable business outcomes and alignment with senior leadership priorities.

 

Key accountabilities

  • Lead structured discovery sessions with Finance and Supply Chain teams to identify, validate and prioritise the highest-impact process improvement opportunities across the Group.
  • Translate business process pain points into clearly defined improvement and automation requirements, bridging the gap between business needs and IT system capabilities
  • Design and pilot improvement solutions in close collaboration with Finance and SCM stakeholders, validating results before scaling Group-wide
  • Deliver hands-on, system-specific training to Finance and SCM staff, and monitor and drive adoption across the Group
  • Prepare concise, regular updates for senior leadership and the Board, covering progress, priorities and key risks.
  • Communicate complex process and IT matters clearly to C-suite and Board audiences, in plain business language.
  • Manage senior stakeholder relationships across Finance, SCM, and leadership.
  • Strong written communication — SOPs, executive summaries and Board slides that are concise, accurate and authoritative.
  • Lead and develop a small specialist team.

 

Qualifications / Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Supply Chain, IT or related discipline
  • Professional certifications (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, APICS) – advantageous

 

Relevant Experience:

  • 12 to 18 years in Finance / Supply Chain transformation or ERP-related roles
  • Experience in complex, multi-entity organisations
  • Proven experience presenting to and managing relationships with C-suite executives and Board or ExCo-level audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business process requirements into IT and system solutions — and to communicate those solutions back to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in the energy, utilities or infrastructure sector
  • Professional qualification in Finance or Supply Chain (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, CPA, APICS CSCP/CPIM) is an advantage, though demonstrated experience and domain credibility will carry greater weight in the selection process.
  • Familiarity with process automation tooling that complements SAP or Oracle environments
