JOB PURPOSE
The Quality Manager is responsible for establishing, implementing and maintaining the Project Quality Management System (PQMS) to ensure full compliance with client requirements, applicable standards and regulatory requirements throughout all project phases including engineering, procurement, fabrication, transportation, installation and commissioning.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Overall project quality performance and compliance with the contractual requirement, client specifications and applicable codes & standards.
- Drive effective implementation of the Project Quality Plan (PQP) to achieve defined quality KPIs
- Ensure the development of project quality documents/procedures following the project requirement with timely approval.
- Management and timely closure of non-conformance issues
- Successful execution of project quality audits and surveillances
- Effective client, TPI and regulatory interface on all quality matters
- Competency and performance of the Quality team
KEY REQUIREMENT
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Science (selective) from MQA-accredited institution or equivalent.
- Minimum 15 years experience in oil & gas projects
- Minimum 5 years in Quality Management role (PQM / Quality Lead)
- Possess an IRCA ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certificate (minimum ISO 9001:2008 version)
- Experience in offshore T&I/EPCI/EPCIC projects with the direct involvement of offshore operation.
- Familiar with codes & standards: ISO, API, ASME, ASTM, AWS, DNV, etc
- Familiar with client standards
- Strong understanding of both QA and QC processes
- Knowledge of ISO/TS 29001 is an advantage
- Strong leadership and team management
- Good communication and stakeholder management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under project schedule pressure
