QUALITY ENGINEER (LEAD)

JOB PURPOSE

The Quality Engineer is responsible for supporting the implementation and maintenance of the Project Quality Management System (PQMS) to ensure compliance with client requirements, applicable standards and regulatory requirements throughout all project phases including engineering, procurement, fabrication, transportation, installation and commissioning.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Execution of overall project quality performance and compliance with contractual requirements, client specifications and applicable codes & standards
• Execute effective implementation of the Project Quality Plan (PQP) to achieve defined quality KPIs
• Ensure timely preparation, review and control of project quality documents/procedures in accordance with project requirements
• Monitoring and timely closure of non-conformance issues
• Execution of project quality audits and surveillance activities
• Effective coordination with client, TPI and regulatory representatives on quality matters
• Ensure the implementation of quality requirements by the project team

KEY REQUIREMENT

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Science (selective) from MQA-accredited institution or equivalent
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in oil & gas projects
• Possess an IRCA ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certificate (minimum ISO 9001:2008 version)
• Experience in offshore T&I/EPCI/EPCIC projects with the direct involvement of offshore operation.
• Familiar with codes & standards: ISO, API, ASME, ASTM, AWS, DNV, etc
• Familiar with client standards

• Good understanding of Strong understanding of both QA and QC processes

• Knowledge of ISO/TS 29001 is an advantage
• Good coordination and communication skills
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under project schedule pressure
