QHSE (LEAD)

JOB PURPOSE

A key function is to manage QHSE compliance by the Programme Management Consultant (PMC). Responsibilities: Establish plans for Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental Management; and monitor implementation and compliance by the supply chain.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

 Develop and implement quality assurance processes and procedures to ensure products or services meet specified standards and customer requirements.

 Establish health management programs and protocols to safeguard the well-being of employees, including occupational health assessments and wellness initiatives.

 Manage safety programs and initiatives to prevent workplace accidents and incidents, including safety training, inspections, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

 Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards by implementing policies and practices to minimize environmental impact and promote sustainability.

 Provide leadership and guidance to QHSE teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

 Identify and assess risks related to quality, health, safety, and environment, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks effectively.

 Communicate QHSE performance, issues, and initiatives to senior management and stakeholders through regular reporting and presentations.

 Drive continuous improvement in QHSE processes and systems through data analysis, feedback mechanisms, and implementation of best practices.

 Conduct internal audits and inspections to ensure compliance with QHSE standards, regulations, and policies, and take corrective actions as necessary.

 Collaborate with internal departments, external partners, and regulatory agencies to promote QHSE objectives and address concerns effectively.
