JOB PURPOSE

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Coordinate and execute logistics operations, including transportation, and shipping, to meet departmental requirements.
Collaborate with procurement, operations, and other relevant teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials, equipment, and supplies.
Arrange transportation and shipping of goods, select appropriate carriers and negotiate favourable rates and service agreements.
Coordinate and liaise with 3PL on shipping documentation, such as bills of lading, packing lists, and customs documentation, ensuring compliance with regulations and requirements.
Monitor the SO tracking to make ensure the funds not exceeded.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to logistics activities, including invoices, receipts, and shipping records.
Perform Good Received Noted (GRN) once job / item delivered and invoice submitted.
Expedite all open purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery of materials, equipment, and supplies.
Maintain effective communication with suppliers, freight forwarders, and transportation providers to prioritize and expedite critical shipments.
Assist in optimizing logistics processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Collaborate with Logistics Manager, Projects, and Operations Team to identify suitable vendors to provide vessel chartering, bunkering, and marine related operations support.

QUALIFICATIONS / CERTIFICATIONS

Diploma/General education degree with courses in general supply chain/office procedures

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

With minimum 2-year experience in logistics matter
Familiarity with local & international shipping regulations, customs requirements, and hazardous material handling is desirable.
To have analytical skills that allow to analyse data and understand necessary supply chain modifications.
Proven experience in logistics coordination, preferably in Oil & Gas Industry or a related field
Knowledge of logistics principles, practices, and procedures, including transportation
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams, external vendors, and 3rd Party Logistics (3PL).
Problem-solving skills to identify and resolve logistics-related issues in a timely manner.
Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations related to logistics & marine operations.

Proficient in English, with oral and written communication skills
Flexibility- be flexible in approach to working times and workload.
Ability to priorities workload/word deadline
Proficient us of industry standard IT systems (e.g., Microsoft Office)
Demonstrate professionalism in dealing with internal/external parties.
Must be trustworthy and able to maintain confidentially with high level integrity & commitment.
Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple process
