JOB PURPOSE

HSE (LEAD) stands for Health, Safety, and Environment Lead, a crucial role responsible for overseeing and managing health, safety, and environmental practices within an organization.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

 The HSE (LEAD) plays a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
 They lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of HSE policies, procedures, and initiatives.
 Responsibilities include conducting risk assessments, audits, and inspections to identify potential hazards and mitigate risks.
 The HSE Lead collaborates with management and employees to promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.
 They provide training and guidance on HSE best practices and ensure that all personnel are adequately informed and trained to perform their duties safely.
 Incident investigation and analysis are integral to the role, with the aim of identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
 The HSE Lead stays abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to proactively address emerging issues and enhance HSE performance.
 Effective communication and engagement with internal and external stakeholders are essential for promoting HSE awareness and fostering a safe working environment.
Continuous monitoring and measurement of HSE performance metrics enable the HSE Lead to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and drive accountability throughout the organization.
