JOB PURPOSE
Overseeing all technology operations and evaluating them according to established goals. Devising and establishing IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by upper management. Analyzing the business requirements of all departments to determine their technology needs.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Develop and execute a global IT and digitalisation roadmap, leveraging cloud, AI/ML, and predictive analytics to transform legacy systems and drive innovation.
- Lead large-scale cloud migration projects (e.g., Azure, AWS), ensuring scalability, resilience, and security of IT infrastructure and applications.
- Champion digital transformation initiatives, process automation, and ERP optimisation to achieve significant cost savings and operational efficiencies.
- Implement robust IT governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance frameworks across all business units.
- Manage huge enterprise level IT portfolios, budgets, and vendor relationships, ensuring cost-effective investments and high service delivery standards.
- Build and scale high-performing, multicultural IT teams, fostering a culture of mentoring, capability enhancement, and cross-regional collaboration.
- Drive stakeholder engagement with C-suite leaders, department heads, and vendors to ensure IT alignment and delivery.
- Lead change management and user adoption programmes to maximise the business impact of technology initiatives.
- Oversee IT asset management, lifecycle planning, and disaster recovery/business continuity capabilities.
- Strengthen cybersecurity practices, data governance, and information security across the organisation.
- Deliver strategic planning, performance tracking, and continuous improvement in IT operations.
QUALIFICATIONS / CERTIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- Certifications such as CISM, CISSP, or CRISC are highly desirable.
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in IT leadership, including global team management, digital transformation, and large-scale system implementation.
- Proven track record in cloud migration, cybersecurity, ERP optimisation, and cost reduction initiatives.
