JOB PURPOSE
The post holder is responsible for crewing services and provides support to operations for project/vessels deliverables
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Assist to ensure worksites are adequately equipped with resources that meet the safe crewing level i.e. recruit and maintain a pool of qualified marine crew.
Assist in verification of crew qualifications/documentation prior to joining.
Manage the process of personnel mobilization and demobilization (travel arrangement, visa, work permit, hotel accommodation, etc).
Work closely with Operation, Maintenance, Payroll, HR, Admin and Company appointed agents for the smooth run of the crew and operation.
Responsible for all documentation related to our marine personnel, especially crew’s personal files.
To administer and monitor personal records of marine crew in the system to ensure the data is updated, accurately and timely.
Ensure marine crew are suitably qualified and experienced, with valid STCW, medical and mandatory trainings including client’s mandatory trainings and medical examination/test prior deployment to worksites.
Ensure marine crew attends HSE briefing /induction prior to joining any vessel/barge.
Ensure compliance to Article of Agreement (AOA).
Provide general operational assistance/support as may be required for effective operation of the vessel.
QUALIFICATIONS / CERTIFICATIONS
Possess a recognize Degree/Diploma in Administration/ Commerce or equivalent or Possess of 3 years’ experience as an administrator in marine industry.
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
Minimum of three (3) years working experience as a Crewing Executive, preferably in the Marine or Oil & Gas industry.
Familiar with the marine laws and regulations governing crew.
Sound crewing knowledge and familiar with offshore oil & gas and marine crewing requirement.
Familiar with work permit or visa application and Government Labor laws.
Good interpersonal communications skills and able to work independently.
