JOB OVERVIEW

support the Senior Finance Manager in managing overhead department costs, performing financial assessments, and assisting in the consolidation and reporting of Joint Venture (JV) financials.

 

Key accountabilities (List 10 to 12)

  • Support preparation of monthly management reports, cost summaries, and financial dashboards
  • Perform basic financial assessments and analysis on potential vendors base on interpretation of audited financial statement and other official sources.
  • Assist in JV financial consolidation, including data collection, reconciliation, and review of JV submissions
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data
  • Maintain proper documentation and schedules of financial reporting including but not limited to opex and capex spending
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and JV partners to clarify financial information and resolve discrepancies
  • Support ad-hoc financial analysis, reporting, and projects as required by the Senior Finance Manager
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of FP&A processes.
  • Utilize financial software and tools to streamline reporting and analysis.
  • Work closely with accounting, operations, and other departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting

 

Relevant Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 2–3 years of relevant working experience (fresh graduates encouraged to apply)
  • Basic understanding of financial statements, overhead cost structures, and budgeting concepts
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, basic formulas); SAP exposure is an advantage
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced finance environment

 

Required Skills 

  • Financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
  • Knowledge of cost control and overhead expense tracking
  • Basic financial analysis skills (variance analysis, trend analysis)
  • Exposure to budgeting and forecasting concepts
  • Understanding of JV accounting and consolidation principles is an advantage
  • Familiarity with month-end closing processes
