ENVIRONMENTAL ADVISOR (SENIOR)

JOB PURPOSE

The post holder is responsible to support support the Head of Environmental Performance & Sustainability on the Environmental Performance, analysis & reporting, participate in the EMS improvements and technical support as required.

Key accountabilities

• Supports improvements and implementation of the VTEB Environmental Management System.
• Ensure Group Environmental Management System Procedures are kept current and compliant with relevant standards.
• Support Environmental Management System Audit conducted by the Group and Business Division.
• Responsible to support the implementation of Environmental & Sustainability policies and procedures at VTEB
• Responsible to support the preparation and updates of environmental sustainability benchmarking and climate pathways and action plan
• Ensure the accuracy of Scope 3 activity data collected from contributors
• Responsible to facilitate the improvements of Synergi environmental performance module functionality and changes in environmental variables Scope 3 emission factor of the Scope 3
• Responsible in the planning of environmental campaign and conservation program
• Deliver environmental sustainability training programs for VTEB Employee
• Support in incident investigation related to the environment.

Qualifications / Certifications:

• Degree in Environment or relevant Engineering field
• ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System Lead Auditor
• Certified Environmental Professional in Scheduled Waste Management

Relevant Experience:

• 5-7 years experience involves in HSE/Environmental Sustainability Reporting and data analysis/Emission Study and Project Environmental Management System
• Experience in managing GHG and environmental performance align with BURSA Malaysia Sustainability Requirements
• Experience in hazardous waste management and Environmental Impact Assessment requirements
