Job Pupose
To support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Supply Chain Management (SCM) digital solutions related to planning, performance monitoring, and reporting. The role ensures SCM systems, tools, and data are effectively utilized to enhance visibility, decision-making, and operational efficiency across the energy supply chain, while meeting business and stakeholder requirements.
Key Accountabilities
- Digital Solution Enablement - Provide direction, guidance, challenge, and support in the adoption, optimization, and effective use of SCM digital solutions. Ensure digital platforms, tools, and data solutions support Group SCM business requirements in a compliant, standardized, and sustainable manner.
- Demand Management -Coordinate enterprise-wide digital data gathering of SCM business requirements and translate them into system-enabled SCM demand. Support the development and maintenance of digital delivery plans and solution roadmaps to ensure business continuity and value protection, avoiding procedural, monetary, statutory, or contractual non-compliance through effective digital controls and workflows. Review and update demand in line with evolving business priorities.
- Resource & Capacity Planning -Support demand-to-capacity matching using digital planning tools and performance data. Identify capability and system gaps and recommend appropriate resourcing, automation, or digital enablement options. Assist in optimizing utilization of digital resources to meet business demand without compromising safety, efficiency, cost effectiveness, or compliance.
- Work Plan & Budget (WPB)-Support SCM digital annual activity planning, including system enhancement initiatives, analytics requirements, and capability development activities. Assist in tracking approved digital budgets, preparing periodic reports, identifying variances, and supporting close-gap actions to ensure alignment with approved plans.
- Governance and Assurance-Support periodic digital self-assessments and internal/external audits to assure SCM systems, tools, and data comply with company, client, statutory, and contractual requirements. Assist in identifying system control gaps, data quality issues, and process weaknesses, and support the implementation of effective digital controls to mitigate financial, procedural, and compliance risks.
- Performance Management & Analytics-Coordinate consolidation of SCM digital performance inputs through standardized dashboards, reports, and analytics platforms. Review performance outputs against defined measures, highlight gaps against expected outcomes, and support implementation of system-driven performance improvement actions.
- Continuous Improvement (CI)-Support the implementation of agreed digital-driven continuous improvement initiatives using structured methodologies (Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve, Control). Promote the use of automation, analytics, and system optimization to enhance SCM efficiency, visibility, and decision-making.
- Stakeholder Management-Engage internal and external stakeholders related to SCM digital solutions and support the maintenance of the SCM Digital Stakeholder Engagement Plan. Collect structured feedback, monitor system adoption and user experience, and support improvement actions to enhance digital solution effectiveness.
- Talent & Capability Development-Support assessment and tracking of digital and functional competencies of SCM team members in accordance with SEB’s Job Competency Profile (JCP). Assist in identifying digital skill gaps and supporting agreed development actions through training, knowledge sharing, and system enablement initiatives.
- Vendor & Solution Performance Support-Support periodic reviews of SCM digital solution vendors and service providers in collaboration with business users and IT teams. Assist in monitoring system performance, service levels, and issue resolution, and support close-gap actions to improve overall solution effectiveness.
